Job Offer - Conservation Partnership officer

Conservation Partnership Officer

The greatest challenge for conservation organizations based in a developing nation is raising funds to sustain their activities. The most efficient and effective groups working on-the-ground have limited resources for fundraising in the U.S. and are unable to benefit from tax-deductible benefits for donors.  While these groups are frequently the entities making a real difference and major impact, they simply cannot compete with the large international NGOs based in the U.S.  It’s time to get funds to the organizations on-the-ground that make a difference.

Conservation Allies is a unique NGO that offers a true partnership for local conservation organizations in the countries of greatest need. We partner with groups with a proven track record of impact and we provide technical assistance at no cost and we also offer a 501(c)3 tax-deductible platform to help raise funds for the work of these organizations.

To advance our mission of assisting local conservation groups we are seeking a full-time or part-time  Conservation Partnership Officer to assist our partners to fully utilize Conservation Allies for technical assistance and as a vehicle for fundraising, especially connecting with and accessing US donors and foundations. This position is remote and ideally in the U.S., but we are willing to consider native / fluent English speakers worldwide.

To assist partners, this position will be responsible for three principal tasks: (i) update partner profiles and share their news on our website, (ii) assist partners with the design and promotion of fundraising campaigns for donors; (iii) assist partners on potential grants applications and individual donor cultivation.

Qualifications required:

  • A passion for wildlife conservation in the tropics

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and welcome remote location.
